ECU Convention 2014

The Irish term Céad Míle Fáilte simply means One hundred thousand welcomes, a term that fully encapsulates the hospitality of the Irish nation. The Chiropractic Association of Ireland is honoured to be the host nation of the 2014 ECU Convention, titled Celebrating Diversity: Information, Innovation and Inspiration.

The Dublin Convention Centre, or CCD is an ideal location to platform the many facets of the 2014 Convention, from expansive exhibitor space to impressive state of the art facilities to complement both the pre-congress seminars, meetings, energetic social programme and networking opportunities.

The Irish are famously known for having the ‘Craic’, a term which encapsulates their fun loving nature and hospitality, laced with laughter, music and dance. The night of Irish Culture held at the Jameson Whiskey Distillery encapsulates just that, not to mention a sneaky whisky tasting experience. Literary and architectural pub crawls, the famous Temple Bar region, comedy clubs, theatre, and on a more serious note, “The Book of Kells” all within a short walk of the CCD.

The Gibson Hotel less than a 5 minute walk from the CCD, and its impressive function room, designed on the themes of many successful musicians and bands of Irish origin, has been chosen to host a Gala dinner which will be different to that of previous years.  For those not wishing to stay at the Gibson, accommodation options to suit every taste and budget are all within a stone's throw of the CCD.

Although we cannot give you the beach and sunshine,  and we can almost guarantee rain of some sorts during your stay, we are confident that a fresh approach, celebrating the diversity of the chiropractic profession through information, innovation, and inspiration will make the ECU 2014 Convention in Dublin one NOT to be missed.
